VoIP Solutions and Services

VoIP solutions have gained tremendous popularity due to increased availability, advanced functionality, and lower costs in comparison to traditional PSTN. To stay competitive, Communication Service Providers (CSP's) must be dynamic, flexible, and efficient.

The CyberVision Advantage

A CSP's infrastructure in which all collaborative systems are tightly integrated and the business processes is optimized can potentially save millions of dollars in CAPEX/OPEX, as well as help avoid revenue leakage.

CyberVision is a trusted provider of software for the Telecom industry. Our high level of expertise, combined with hands-on experience using the latest technologies has contributed to 100% fulfillment of even the most complex projects, including engagements with Tier 1, 2 and 3 CSP's. Additionally, with a reliable partner like CyberVision, an offshore engagement model guarantees fast ROI's.

Goal 1: VoIP services fulfillment

Carrier & Wholesale services implementation and administration

Designing and architecting a CSP's VoIP core (SSW and environment) and performing implementation, including configuration, pre-provisioning, and provisioning of subscribers and services. Our engineers are experienced in VoIP session management protocols and technologies related to IP telephony, such as:

Software component customization, integration, and maintenance, including DID Inventory, LNP and CNAM management and interfaces

Integrating VoIP components within a CSP's core, and developing custom solutions for data management and media traffic exchanges. We are experienced in integration of SSW, VAS systems, HSS and OSS/BSS suites, and have hundreds of pre-built adapters for equipment from various vendors. We are fully knowledgeable in both traditional IP telephony and IMS based infrastructures.

VoIP infrastructure component configuration and maintenance – Media Gateways, SBC, Communication Servers, IP-CENTREX, Conference systems etc.

Deploying, configuring, and maintaining components of Carrier IP telephony for the major brands.

Goal 2: CAPEX minimization

Having almost two decades of experience in project and staff outsourcing for the Telecom industry, we are able to resolve the most complex challenges at highly competitive pricing.

Goal 3: OPEX optimization

Planning, designing, and optimizing the structure of VoIP fixed assets (equipment and software), as well as VoIP network topology. Independent experts, such as CyberVision, can save CSPs millions in unnecessary expenditures by assessing available options on marketplace and outsourcing required tasks.

Support and Maintenance of existing or/and deployed systems is a crucial component of CyberVision's services portfolio. With the expertise gained during years of serving major US CSP's, our team can fulfill the tasks of remote NOC management.  The cost-effectiveness of our managed services allows CSP's to save up to several times in OPEX , in comparison to on-site models in the US or Western Europe.

Network Management Systems Customization, Integration, Deployment, & Support

By outsourcing network management tasks, CSP's can focus on increasing their customer base and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Typically, the core of a CSP's IP telephony environment is based on multi-vendor and multi-platform solutions, including hardware, software, databases, applications, Web applications, etc. As a result, CSP's must use a number of vendor-specific systems, which cannot provide operators with a comprehensive view of the network and reduces the efficiency of network management and fault analysis.

CSP's also face the challenges of deploying, maintaining and supporting these systems. The success of such endeavors greatly depends on the close involvement and collaboration of many specialists, ranging from software developers to network architects and engineers. To manage such teams and to develop such systems in-house is challenging to accomplish and costly to maintain.

Our experience includes implementation of new VoIP services, infrastructure optimization, and support tasks. We form fully-skilled teams consisting of developers, network engineers, designers etc. With CyberVision's services, CSP's no longer need to be burdened by the cost and management efforts required to maintain full-time development teams, and can reap the benefits of the lower cost of outsourcing.

CyberVision maintains a vendor-independent approach in its services, and we aim to deliver a combination of products and solutions which best serve our clients, not particular vendors.

Summary of Selected Solutions

SIP-Trunking for Carrier

There are several custom SIP Trunking solutions in CyberVision’s portfolio that have been successfully implemented for CSP's':

  • Developed a Load Balancing Engine based on the FreeSWITCH (Tandem) that enabled call volumes to be balanced between several call routing platforms while avoiding overloaded routes. An external Load Statistics Database collects the current load of each server in real time. Based on this information, calls are routed to the server that has the least amount of load.
  • Developed an enhanced FreeSWITCH least-cost-routing (LCR) module that enabled Carriers to request LCR information from external servers “on the fly”. CyberVision designed and implemented a Sonus gateway that reads the routing data via the SIP-T protocol, resulting in the Sonus hardware, which is responsible to establishing calls between IP and PSTN, to utilize a highly optimized least call routing process.

SIP-Trunking for CSP's customers

This solution has allowed CSP's customers to enjoy the benefits of VoIP by utilizing their existing PBXs. With minimal investment, customers gained access to cost-effective VoIP services, which were inaccessible to them before.

Toll Free numbers and Premium numbers

Developed several solutions providing Toll Free numbers and Premium numbers for Carriers. Advantages of this solution:

  • Advanced incoming call routing depending on time (TDR) and caller number (ODR)
  • Network IVR that gathers additional information about caller before the call itself is routed to its destination
  • Interfaces with Pre-Pay system that allows users to “pay-per-call”
  • Toll Free numbers can be set to forward to any international phone or Skype number
