Wireless Solutions

CyberVision’s expertise in wireless technologies spans signaling and wireless protocol implementations to high-level systems for wireless network planning and performance optimization. Our wireless solutions provide high bandwidth WLANs with strong authentication and encryption schema. This includes implementations of various WLAN protocols (802.11a/b/g/n and 802.16) for network equipment and Customer Premises equipment (CPE).

Customer Premises equipment (CPE)

As a part of our "High-Speed Secure WLAN Solution", we offer modeling and development of proprietary extensions to the WEP security protocol that provide considerably stronger security than present implementations.

DATA & VOICE TRANSPORT SOLUTIONS for 3G WIRELESS NETWORKS

We offer full-scale implementations of firmware modules for wireless network equipment and CPE, including mid- (IPv6) and high (VoIP) level protocols. We provide solutions for wireless network switches and towers, end-user devices and personal computers. Our solutions cover a wide range of wireless standards and protocols as well as their future evolutions:

  • 3GPP GSM EDGE Radio Access
  • 3GPP UMTS Radio Access
  • CDMA / CDMA2000 / 1x EV-DO
  • WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, HSDPA

We have developed large-scale systems that provide services based on the Voice over IP and Video over IP family of protocols (H.323x, RTP, SIP).

LTE (Long Term Evolution)

LTE is a parallel 3G solution that uses OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) to provide an even higher peak throughput by using the higher frequency spectrum. Performance enhancements are achieved through advanced antenna techniques and beam forming (MIMO, SDMA). LTE also provides a packet-only core network EPC (Evolved Packet Core) that supports IP-based applications and services. Therefore LTE may reach peak rates of 100/50 Mbps in the 20 MHz spectrum. Further LTE technology improvements have lead to LTE Advanced which became the foundation for deploying fully IP-based 4G networks that deliver peak rates of 1 Gbps.

We are utilizing advances in service offerings and core network architecture improvements to develop different service platforms such as IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem), MBMS (Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Service), and SAE (System Architecture Evolution).

IMS is a service platform for supporting multimedia applications based on SIP (Session Initiation Protocol), SDP (Session Description Protocol), RTP (Real Time Transport Protocol) and Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP). IMS provides data and voice service delivery at lower cost versus IP building infrastructure.

MBMS is an efficient approach for delivering content to multiple subscribers using the same radio resource. Service areas may cover the entire network or a specific geographical area.

SAE is a framework for developing 3GPP systems with a higher data rate, lower latency, and packet-optimization with multiple radio access support. SAE can be optimized to deliver all services via IP.

WIMAX

WiMAX is an IP based system that offers significant speed and capacity improvements over current wireless networks and can be integrated with wireline, cable and satellite technologies. WiMAX introduces high data rates over greater distances by using bandwidth more efficiently while avoiding interference. It provides a peak throughput of up to 46 Mbps and a range of up to 48 kilometers.

Our wireless solutions support both fixed (IEEE 802.16-2004) and mobile (IEEE 802.16-2005) applications, suited for delivering last mile wireless access used by high-speed broadband services such as VoIP, VoD and Video calls.

Wireless Network Management – Next Gen. Operations Support Systems

Deploying wireless technologies requires numerous OSS enhancements to effectively manage them. A NextGen OSS solution is optimized for the specifics of wireless networks and is designed to support present wireless network technologies as well as next generation technologies such as 4G

CyberVision’s NextGen OSS Solutions combine software and services that enable wireless service providers, broadband, voice, IP, cable and hosting services to automate and improve inventory management, various monitoring processes and efficiently manage all telecommunications assets throughout their lifecycle.

Systems developed by CyberVision are rules engine based, which provides easy and flexible methods for changing business rules. CyberVision’s Wireless OSS includes:

  • Customer Care / Call Center Operations
  • Billing
  • Provisioning and Inventory Management
  • Trouble Ticketing
  • Fault Management
  • Workforce Management
